Robinson's experience as an Episcopal bishop serves him well as narrator of his book. His steady reading coupled with the emotion and sincerity behind his words will keep listeners deeply engaged as he moves point by point to theologically destroy biblically based arguments against the acceptance of homosexuality. He maintains a fair and even tone when dressing down his critics, keeping respect in his voice but using his intellect to disarm their straw men. The compassion in his reading will touch listeners looking to find a middle ground between their identity and their religion. The accompanying bonus interview is enjoyable, though it rehashes too much of what is in the book. L.E. © AudioFile 2013, Portland, Maine [Published: FEBRUARY 2013]
