PINCH AND DASH MAKE SOUP

Chop. Dice. Mince. It’s time to make soup! Pinch is too lazy to make his own, but his buddy Dash is a cook. Luckily, Pinch has all the ingredients, plus a few more, to transform Dash’s “skinny” soup. Children will enjoy what spinach, potato, cheese, hot sauce, and pepper can do for the soup pot and for the friendship. Greg Steinbruner’s narration provides just what young listeners need. His pacing is steady, and his voice distinct and firm. He adds just enough punch to underscore the author’s alliteration and repetitive sentence structure.
