James Lewis finds the perfect matter-of-fact tone and touch of ironic humor to portray Jack. Jack has a flawed girlfriend named Donna, and their relationship is real and equally flawed. The story, which translates well to audio, is at times overshadowed by their repartee, involving everything from menstrual cramps to unlikely suspects and irrational jealousy. Lots of plot twists and theatrical characters provide Lewis with a rich field for his creativity.
