ZERO COUPON

by | Read by Michael McConnohie

Mystery & Suspense • 3 hrs. • Abridged • © 1993

In the aftermath of the greedy '80's Erdman offers a cross between financial intrigue and an economics lesson. Willy Saxton, junk bond dealer, returns to San Francisco after serving time in prison and devises more ways to make money--lots of money. Michael McConnohie reads expressively with a pleasant voice. The dozen or so characters are differentiated by changes in accent and pace though his foreign accents are less believable. An integral part of the program are the explanations of complex financial dealings, and these portions are easily understood thanks to McConnohie's slow and deliberate pace.
