THE BIG MOG TAPE

Mog seems like a cat we'd like to know--mischievous, brave, and in the thick of things. Mog may be a household word to British families, but Mog is relatively unknown to Americans. Andrew Sachs and Geraldine McEwan present a charming introduction with five episodes in this program, but without a little foreknowledge of the series, or a picture book to reference, the audio program is an uncertain place to start. Music and sound effects accompany the story, and if listeners persist, Mog and family come to life. Worth the effort, but then trying to find one of the books isn't easy either.
