THE GIFT A Horse, a Boy, and a Miracle of Love

Gruff, lonely, and wise "Mac" McNeally places an ad seeking someone to provide companionship for his daughter's horse. The ad is answered by a recent widow, the overprotective mother of a young son who has not spoken since the death of his father, a soldier. Nothing short of divine intervention can be credited with the result. Arielle deLisle smoothly transitions between the gruff voice of Mac, the soft, lilting voice of Rebecca, and, ultimately, the tender voice of her son.
