This is Tim Moore's whimsical travelogue, retracing the exploits of Lord Dufferin, who in the 1850s sailed his yacht around Iceland. Relating quirky facts and anecdotes, Moore begins by exploring life on Iceland, his journey via bicycle across its forbidding yet beautiful landscape, and his difficulties with sea voyages. The story is narrated in a droll, understated British accent by Richard Greenwood. His voice is a good fit with the subtle yet preposterous situations in which the author finds himself.
