After a not quite perfect murder cover-up doesn't make it past the scrutiny of Lt. Eve Dallas, she finds herself thrown into the high-finance world of her husband, Roarke. As always, Roarke is beautifully voiced with a sexy Irish accent. The plot revolves around the question of who would kill an innocent mother for money. Dallas is determined to do what she needs to do to protect her city, and the strong and supportive Roarke is determined to protect his wife.
