In this fourth book in the Friday Harbor series, the romantic sparks fly when beautiful Justine, a witch who is hoping to find her soul mate, encounters Jason, a wildly handsome but soulless computer- game genius. Narrator Tanya Eby gives a heartfelt narration, using a lilting, youthful voice, along with considerable acting abilities, to bring this paranormal story to life. Eby distinctly portrays each of the principals and keeps listeners engaged with a deft performance. A bondage scene and a near-drowning in this otherwise light story may be off-putting to some.
