THE SPHINX is Bob Mayer's fourth installment in the Area 51 series, about aliens among us. This one drops the listener into the middle of a world in which the aliens have landed. Narrator Eric Dove provides a solid pathway into this brave new world with a pitch-perfect delivery, but if one is unfamiliar, there's a feeling of being late to the dance. With appropriate accents and intonations, Dove guides the listener through the story all they way to Egypt.
