It's hard to imagine another narrator being more in sync with this book's dot-com insights and youthful vibe. The chasm, says Moore, is the period between the time a groundbreaking tech product is bought by pioneer enthusiasts and the time it becomes a mass-market commodity for customers whose needs are often different from those of early adopters.
