OUTLAW TAMER

The prolific Max Brand, always a fan of underdogs, places a seeming idiot savant on a ranch owned by a proud, jealous bully. How the inhumanly strong, intuitive youth overcomes his boss's malice and wins himself a bride forms the bulk of the finely crafted narrative. Brian O'Neill narrates competently, though superficially, missing most of the humor and ignoring most of the derring-do.
