HIT ME Keller, Book 5

Philatelist and for-hire assassin Keller returns as Richard Poe once more lends his accomplished voice to the newest of the Hit Man series. Block seems to have trouble with retirement and has brought himself and one of his more enigmatic characters back to their old professions. Poe’s smooth, polished delivery works well with the narrative, and his pacing perfectly matches each scene, whether humorous or action filled. His even-keeled voice makes for an easy listen with no distractions, pulling the listener right into the story. More a series of vignettes told in chronological order than a traditional mystery held together by a strong plot, this volume is a difficult place to start for the listener not familiar with the series.
