THE BOY, THE DEVIL AND DIVORCE

The intriguing title of this audiobook invites scrutiny. No disappointment here: the story delivers the delivishly clever ploy of Boston attorney, Weld Pennyworth (aka "the devil" ) who is hired by ten-year-old Justin to keep his parents from getting a divorce. Richard Dysart could be Pennyworth himself. He presents the perfect acerbic, arrogant tone yet offers great compassion with young Justin. Justin's parents and their lawyers are astutely characterized. Dysart is definitely the narrator for this novel. The story keeps up a compelling pace and ends with satisfying resolution.
