BABE AND ME

Joe Stoshack's hand starts to tingle each time he holds an old baseball card. Listeners will get the same sensation when hearing this story read by Johnny Heller. As the characters are transported back in time, Heller changes his voice to suit the time period. In the world of the 1930s the voices are innocent, charming, and old-fashioned while in modern times the characters are more brash and outspoken. In the beginning, the main character, Joe, has a nasally voice and is unsure of himself. As he gets stronger and more confident, so does his voice.
