CHICKEN SOUP FOR THE PARENT'S SOUL

Though many listeners snicker about the Chicken Soup series, this edition about parenting has some of the finest stories and narrative performances anyone will hear in an audiobook. To appreciate it, you'll have to open up your inspiration port--judge not and, above all, don't expect anything like advice or direction. It's "soupy" by design, but extremely well done. Even for people maxxed-out on inspiration, it's a nice collection of stories and a boost for anyone enduring the long grind that raising children is for most parents.
