Kirsten Potter delivers a straightforward, deliberate reading, balancing the horror with a dynamic voice for Adelman, who is always recognizable in the frequent dialogue scenes. Potter's voices are often passionate, and the main characters have individual tones. Potter never veers into melodrama.
