THE GIANT BABY

Suppose that, more than anything in the world, you wanted a baby brother (although a sister would do). Then suppose that, suddenly, in the middle of the night, one appears on your doorstep--not just a baby though, a giant baby, bigger than any adult you know. For Alice Hicks, it's her every wish come true; for her parents it's a nightmare. But as the family comes to love their newest member, strangers have other ideas of what to do with a baby that size. Reading with that clipped, precise British accent, Andy Crane brings each of the characters uniquely to life, from determined, spirited Alice to her uninterested father and all the rather one-dimensional characters they encounter along the way.
