TORTUGA IN TROUBLE

From the beginning of this audiobook, which opens with a Spanish glossary and a production guide, Brian and Rosi Amador narrate with enthusiasm, strong articulation, and playfulness. As Tortuga sets off with a supper basket for his grandmother, Iguana, Culebra, and Conejo secretly follow him, eager to have a taste. Will the friends have a chance, or will the conniving Coyote get the goods? Brian's drawn-out speech is as slow as Tortuga's plodding, but his high-pitched Coyote raises the tension in the plot. Rosi sets just the right pace for each section of the adventure and animates Conejo's rescue plan with delight. Sound effects complement the production.
