Christopher Benjamin and Trevor Baxter reprise their roles as Henry Gordon Jago and Professor Litefoot in this popular British Doctor Who audio spin-off. This time around, the Time Lord inadvertently drops the Victorian duo smack in the middle of the swinging 1960s. With the help of their Cockney vampire sidekick, Ellie (Lisa Bowerman), the Professor purchases a bookshop, Jago finds himself starring in a television variety show, and all three try to keep a magic crystal out of the clutches of the wonderfully named Guinevere Godiva. First-rate sound effects and an appropriately groovy musical soundtrack highlight the production. A behind-the-scenes bonus CD recounts just how much dedication and attention to detail go into producing high-quality full-cast audio entertainment.
