This delightful murder mystery exemplifies the "cozy" genre. Nigel Carrington brings the characters to life--from the bird-like Emmy Crisp to the Cockney lawyer of immense size, Mr. Arthur Crook. This novel is one in a series of 50. Carrington enjoys the charming characters and reads with relish, especially the funny quips and scenes.
