BRICK MALLERY, PRIVATE INVESTIGATOR, EPISODE THREE

As easy as it may seem to spoof those hard-boiled private dick tales, this group of Canadian comedic per-formers really cuts a linguistic rug in this, the third episode of their Brick Mallery series. The voices are all perfectly suited for each of the roles (hunky Brick, the wily mysterious man, lush gun moll, etc.). And be prepared to duck with the barrage of puns flying at you like rapid fire from a tommy gun. Some of the jokes focus too much on homophobic themes, but all in all the production is a fun one, good to lift your spirits on a blah afternoon.
