Thayer returns to Nantucket with another chick-lit read. Sisters Arden, Meg, and Jenny must spend the summer together at their father's Nantucket home before they can sell it and split the profits. Hurt feelings relating to Meg and Arden's banishment from the island 20 years earlier must be dealt in order for reconciliation to occur. Cassandra Campbell narrates with a light touch that keeps the story firmly planted in the escapist world of the beach read. One weakness is that her phrasing in dialogue is often off, inserting periods where commas should be so that words seem to be coming from the wrong mouths. In spite of that, and a too pat ending, fans of Thayer's Nantucket world will enjoy the diversion. N.E.M. © AudioFile 2013, Portland, Maine [Published: JULY 2013]
