FINAL SECONDS

by | Read by Edward Lewis

Mystery & Suspense • 12 hrs. • Unabridged • © 1998

Celebrities and their minions are being murdered by a deranged bomber. Retired NYPD Bomb Squad expert Will Harper discovers the killer's convoluted pattern--only no one believes him. Although not gifted with a strong, resonant tone, Edward Lewis does his best to present FINAL SECONDS in a crisp, clear manner. However, his voice seldom matches the mood of the characters and situations. Lewis seems unable to express the feelings and emotions that are packed into this fast-paced story. When solid pronunciation is coupled with empty emotion, the result is a pedestrian presentation. T.J.M. © AudioFile 2001, Portland, Maine [Published: AUG/ SEP 01]
