THE ROSIE PROJECT

In many ways, THE ROSIE PROJECT is a more upbeat and adult version of THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHT-TIME. Listeners are in the shoes of a 40-year-old Australian male who suffers from Asperger's syndrome. Narrator Dan O'Grady deftly portrays university professor Don Tillman and the multitude of lively and interfering people around him when he undertakes his "wife project." As he searches for the perfect soul mate, he meets Rosie, who possesses NONE of his requirements. Don and Rosie are, by far, O'Grady's best creations as he flawlessly demonstrates their polar opposite personalities and, later, their growing awareness of their differences.
