From 1930-1936 and 1939-1950, Sherlock Holmes was a popular radio series distinguished by high ratings and first-class writing. Several audio publishers have issued packaged episodes from the series. All are immensely enjoyable. Simon & Schuster's episodes are crystal clear, and they feature add-on narration by actors from the radio era, some of whom appeared in the episodes themselves.
