CALL ME BY MY TRUE NAMES

Thich Nhat Hanh is a well-known Vietnamese Zen master whose devotion to truth is so profound that it transcends the confines of Buddhism, or any religious tradition for that matter. Half of this program consists of a sensitive studio interview while the second half captures the holy man speaking and reading his poetry at a San Francisco church. In the latter segment, we also hear songs in Vietnamese and English that are beautiful and mesmerizing. Combined with the Thich Nhat Hanh's peaceful voice, they move the listener into a slower mode of being. This powerful program will influence people in ways that can't be explained.
