DIE DANCING

Dr. Clare Burtonall, sensuous cardiologist, and Bonn, charismatic streetwise gigolo, or "doer" in street talk, are an offbeat but effective investigative team in Gash's thriller series. They get involved when Detective Inspector Hassell investigates a homicide. Richard Greenwood's clipped British accent easily and clearly enunciates the street language of northwest England. While the vocabulary is sometimes confusing, it doesn't interfere with listeners being drawn to Gash's gritty milieu.
