ANTON AND CECIL: CATS AT SEA

Feline brothers Anton and Cecil live wild in a seaport town. Narrator Maxwell Glick builds character by giving Anton's voice a timid tone and the more adventurous Cecil a voice full of bounding enthusiasm. When a sailor captures Anton to make him a mouser on his ship, Cecil decides to set out and rescue him. Glick's bright reading carries the story along as the cats encounter storms, pirates, and other animals. While it's always clear whether a human or animal is speaking, secondary characters' voices are often indistinct, and listeners will occasionally struggle to figure out who's talking.
