His portrayal of Marty's relationship with his former partner, whose personality is totally opposite his own, adds believability and occasional humor. As Amanda, Sherr vividly renders a young woman who is grateful for Singer's help but also terrified. The multiple surprises that close the story will satisfy listeners.
