PARADOX RESOLUTION

Cameron McDonald delivers a low-key, almost gloomy, narration of the time-traveling travails of ex-policeman Aloysius "Spider" Webb. Spider, who repairs time machines for a living, finds his life is turned upside down when he discovers the severed head of his former boss in his refrigerator; it's asking him for help. Then his new boss enlists his aid when his son goes missing in a high-end model time machine. This is the second book in the series, and the repeated references to events in the first book, combined with the usual logic tangles of time travel and endless descriptions of time-machine specs, may leave listeners wishing they could go back in time to pick another audiobook.
