Although the jacket design is reminiscent of a hip Grandma Moses and the title suggestive of a gardener's how-to--this production is grand. Mrs. Fytton has made a perfect life for her husband who, one day, leaves her for a younger woman.Mrs Fytton's method of coping is to sell her London house, move to the country, and donate her adolescent son and daughter to her husband and his new wife. Phyllida Nash is the model of the word "perfect." Her reading is exquisite; the tone she gives each character is recognizable throughout the book. She must have felt delight at creating their voices because she imparts that glee while she reads. Don't let the package put you off. This audiobook is pure entertainment. J.P.
