As Morton infuses the narrative and dialogue with emotion—growling lines like “She wanted her husband back”—listeners will feel each character’s anger and distress. It’s almost a guilty pleasure listening to a book based on a video game, but who cares when you’re having so much fun hearing a storyteller of this caliber?
