THE SEEKERS

As narrated by Ben Hall, this Western tale about a woman searching for her daughter amid rivalries on the frontier is given a realistic rendering, with little exaggeration. Dialogue is appropriately dramatized, however, and the production is complemented by sound effects, such as doors opening, horse and wagon train sounds, and the strum of a guitar as a transition. In this manner, the story is given a sense of place, and the result is a pleasant suspension of disbelief in the category of Western adventure.
