This new entry in a series prepared for BBC is a full-cast dramatization with background music and sound effects. Four of Doyle’s original stories are presented: “The Adventure of the Engineer’s Thumb,” “The Adventure of the Copper Beeches,” “ The Adventure of the Noble Bachelor,” and “The Adventure of the Beryl Coronet.” Each actor is believable and effective.
