The sounds of masked heroes fighting aliens, spies, and the establishment make this untold story of WWII by a full cast of talented actors a delight to the ears. Josh Pollock leads a cast of more than a dozen actors in performing the story of a sinister plot foiled by 1940s "mystery men": the Black Bat, Domino Lady, Secret Agent X, the Phantom Detective, and Airboy, a young aviator hero. The audiobook is punctuated by cool sound effects and the clipped tough-guy speech of the heroes (and heroine). This program is based on actual reports of Japanese planes heading toward the Hollywood Hills, which turned out to be false. At least, that's what the government would like us to believe.
