SMITH

The dark corners of SMITH's Victorian setting are richly populated with scoundrels, ruffians, and the young pickpocket, Smith. Smith finds himself the target of a chase after witnessing the murder of a man he has just robbed. Smith's journey will take him from a tavern to a magistrate's house to Newgate Prison before the murder is solved. Ron Keith's narration not only brings to life the 12-year-old street urchin, but also the many other characters, who range all over the social strata.
