Here are the life and times of a female FBI agent who joined the organization twenty years ago and who was involved in many of the actions we have read about. She helped rescue a kidnapped boy, find the Tylenol Killer, and capture an international killer. Initially, there is a stiffness to DeLong's presentation, as though she were reporting to her superiors. Eventually she becomes comfortable with her narrative, and the stories become more fluid. It might have been more effective if she had just "told" her stories, instead of reading them. Nevertheless, the insider's view of the FBI is fascinating, and there's never a dull moment in her exciting life. M.B.K. © AudioFile 2001, Portland, Maine [Published: OCT/ NOV 01]
