Narrator Kyle McCarley tackles this twist on the story of Romeo and Juliet with wry humor, convincing and imaginative voices and accents, and an enthusiasm that is entrancing. Benvolio Montague, cousin to fair Romeo, is the "Prince of Shadows" who is cat burgling his way through Verona as the feud between the Montagues and the Capulets comes to its tragic end. Similar to Wicked, this twist on a classic story is told from a different point of view--in this case, Benvolio's-- giving a very different version and added detail to the story made so famous by Shakespeare.
