Storyteller David Jordan carries the listener on a spirited journey to foreign mission fields in this ten-story compilation. His easy-listening voice tells poignant stories of missionaries in Senegal, then quivers with emotional relief as Chen Li, a Chinese convert unwilling to sacrifice his newfound belief, declares Jesus as Lord. His fears become ringing praise when he learns his captors are really his friends. His vocal tones are solemn in another story when a stranger invites him to the Louvre, and then fill with praise as he is healed there. Throughout, accents are genuine, though the female gender is not very successful. On the whole, this is an excellent, inspirational audio.
