ADMIT TO MURDER

by | Read by David Collins

Mystery & Suspense • 7.75 hrs. • Unabridged • © 1990

A well-to-do couple's grown daughter disappears one night on the way home from choir practice. Right away you suspect the jealous and criminally inclined older adopted brother; all clues point that way--or do they? The case remains unsolved for years, and, in a way, this is more a study of the toll this tragedy takes on the family and their friends than a murder mystery. It is a well-done psychological study. David Collins has a fine and pleasant voice. He creates a personality for each character and, whether anxious, stern, or kindly, keeps them all right on the money. This adds greatly to the enjoyment of listening. You come to know and understand each member of the cast very well. D.G. (c) AudioFile 2001, Portland, Maine [Published: DEC/ JAN 02]
