Like a movie in which a great actor's performance makes the difference, DIPLOMATIC IMMUNITY is a book for which Frank Muller's performance does the same. The novel is a traditional whodunit based at the United Nations. Sam Windrush, an attorney in the Legal Affairs Unit, must solve the murder of a Japanese envoy, which occurs just days before a crucial UN vote. There are many suspects, including Sam's own daughter and, as expected at the UN, representatives from many countries. Muller's ability to give every character a personality, and every story twist just the right inflection, makes this story worth listening to.
