SONS OF WICHITA How the Koch Brothers Became America's Most Powerful and Private Dynasty

by | Read by Alan O'Reilly

Biography & Memoir • 12.25 hrs. • Unabridged • © 2014

Narrator Alan O’Reilly recounts the story of the Koch family and Koch Industries in a stable, even voice. The book covers the lives of the patriarch, Fred Koch, as well as his four sons—Frederick, Charles, David, and Bill. O’Reilly really has his work cut out for him. In addition to the family tensions, there are sections covering politics, technology, business, and more. O’Reilly does little to vary his voice, providing what seems to be an outsider’s view of the family. Still, the story has plenty to keep the listener interested, and the narration, while low-key, is perfect for this look at a modern dynasty.
