HEART OF A WARRIOR

When a seven-foot alien humanoid meets a beautiful six-foot earthling, cultural and romantic sparks ignite a raging inferno. Brittany and Dalden’s passion for each other is about the only consistent portion of the plot, as it bounces playfully through the universe. Laural Merlington’s lively narration suits the quirky story perfectly. She keeps her performance as light as the text, and admirably conveys life and character to the many personalities contained in it, including an omniscient brainiac computer. In characterizing the aliens, she manages to give differing regionalisms to the varied populations, while retaining the unique personality of each.
