LIFE BEYOND EARTH

Tim Ferris, well-known author of THE WHOLE SHE-BANG, here narrates an abridgment of his award-winning special seen on PBS. Attempting to answer the question of whether we on earth are alone in the universe, he discusses the origins of life on our planet, bringing in the history of the search for life on other planets, as well as methods being used to communicate with who or whatever may be out there. It is unfortunate that this production is an abridgment because Ferris is an engaging speaker with a pleasing voice. He reads in an understated manner but has the tone of one who is confident about what he says.
