CAJUN FAIRY TALES

J.J. Reneaux retells five Cajun tales. The stories are as fresh, vibrant and special as her storytelling style. Reneaux's delivery is sometimes sassy, sometimes hot as cayenne peppers, and sometimes sweet as sugar cane (just like Marie Jolie, the heroine of one of the stories). The tellings are enriched by the use of fiddle music to set the scene, extend the mood and punctuate the tales' surprising twists.
