THE CITY

The narrative of Jonah Kirk comes to life through the voice of narrator Korey Jackson. Kirk has a tale to tell about his life in the city and about The City itself--which he considers his life-long companion. From childhood to old age, Kirk's life takes strange twists and turns that lead him down dark paths. But he follows those paths because of his love for The City, the source of all of his encounters and predicaments. Jackson's voice has a deep and projecting tone that becomes quickly engaging. He embodies Kirk when the story is told in the first person. He also delivers distinctive voices for the other characters and keeps the story moving.
