DEATH BY DIDGERIDOO

Lawyer Jamie Quinn's young nephew, Adam, who suffers from Asperger's syndrome, is accused of murdering a reviled rock star with an Australian musical instrument called a didgeridoo. Narrator Carrie Lee Martz skillfully enhances this unusual mystery. To help with her investigation, Quinn must call in several favors from her friend Grace, a criminal lawyer, and sleazy PI Duke Broussard. Martz deftly handles the varied accents of Hollywood, Florida, and captures the flirty interplay between Quinn and Broussard. She also presents a believable Adam as he tries to understand the crime he seems to have confessed to. Listeners will enjoy this first in a series while also learning all about didgeridoos.
