WORLD CUP MOUSE

Young mouse Louie LaSurie is a huge soccer fan who dreams of bringing the French team to World Cup victory. Narrator David Doersch is an adorable young rodent, as well as his family, friends, and everyone connected with the sport. Doersch uses a convincing array of accents for the international players--his best creation is a Cockney-accented cat on the English team. The verbal sparring between cat and mouse is delightful. Young listeners will be inspired to hear Louie repeat, "It isn't hard to have a dream, but it's hard to make a dream come true."
