Tanya Eby puts a lot of herself into her performance of this individualized guide to getting things done. Her diction and phrasing sound professional, and she understands the themes and ideas in the material. But the intensity of her efforts makes her reading sound more formulaic than supportive of the text. Author Carson Tate explains that people get more done when their individual styles of thinking and working are considered. Prioritizers (focused on goals), Arrangers (relationship oriented), Visualizers (big-picture thinkers), and Planners (prefer details) are more productive when offered work strategies that capitalize on their operational preferences. Carson also offers insights and advice on communication, time management, and ways to organize (or not organize) your office. T.W. © AudioFile 2016, Portland, Maine [Published: FEBRUARY 2016]
